FASHION AND ARTS - YSL AND THE VALPINÇON BATHER

The advertising has been inspired by the painting "La Grande Baigneuse" by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres.

The gestural and proxemic codes are an index of confidentiality and sensuality of the girl.

The bed is symbol of intimacy.
The man and the girl, as usual in this YSL campain, are symbols for arts and fashion.

Now they love each other with respect, tenderness, confidence.

Now they are really united, as if they were the same entity.

The advertising sends an idea of calmess, availability, stability.
